Welcome to the homepage of The Clyde Consort, Glasgow's period instrument consort.

The Clyde Consort was founded and formed in January 2008 by Peter Yardley-Jones. His ambition was to form a Chamber Ensemble specialising in performing Baroque music on period instruments and to encourage period performance by students. The Consort's debut concert took place in the Memorial Chapel at the University of Glasgow in March 2008, as part of the Glasgow Archdiocese LENTFest Festival.
